A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

This thesis is focused on the proposal of financial business plan for the company UO TEX. The first part of this work deals with the theoretical background necessary for making a financial plan. Then, the work brings the introduction of the company and its financial and strategic analyses. The final part of the thesis proposes a financial plan for the period 2019 - 2022, namely in two versions - optimistic and pessimistic ones, including their evaluation.

This master’s thesis is focused on a draft of a corporate financial plan for a selected company. The first part deals with the theoretical basis of company's financial planning. In the next part, selected company is introduced and a strategic and financial analysis is carried out. In the last part of the master’s thesis, a draft of the corporate financial plan for the next four years is created in both pessimistic and optimistic variant. Finally, an evaluation of both variants of the financial plan is performed.

This thesis consists of three main parts. The first one contains theoretical data for financial planning. It is focused on principles and methods of financial planning, on creation of short – term and long – term financial plan and its following control. In the second part there is implementation of evaluation of contemporary situation in chosen company and financial analysis that act as a basis for formation of financial plan. The practical part contains financial plan design of ABC, s.r.o. company.

The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical background, whose knowledge is necessary for drawing up the financial plan. Subsequently, the thesis is focused on introducing the selected company Then the necessary analyzes, strategic and financial, will be carried out to evaluate the current situation of the company, which serves as a basis for the financial plan itself. That will soon be drawn up for the next three marketing years. The final part of the thesis includes evaluation and feedback of this financial plan.

The objective of the diploma thesis is to develop a long-term financial plan of AGROSTROJ Pelhřimov, a. s. The financial plan spans a five-year period from 2022 to 2026 and encompasses three distinct scenarios representing potential future development: realistic, optimistic, and pessimistic. The plan comprises a projected income statement, forecasted a balance sheet and a cash flow projection. Upon completion, the financial plan is assessed to determine the future financial situation of the company.
